American Legion representatives recently joined Boy Scout Troop 446 of Seminary and Cub Scout Pack 61 of Raleigh for an official flag retirement ceremony. Those present included American legion representatives: Post 71 Commander Pat Baughman, Jackie Baughman, Angela Duncan and Ben Stringer; Pack 61 scouts: Dillion Sawdy, Alex Reyes, Liam Hicks, Aiden Crittenden and Nathan Ollis; parents: Ashley Ervin, Brittany Reyes, Emily Hicks, Ryan Crittenden, Gabriele Garner, Wilson Garner, (not pictured) Lydia James, Tommy James and Elijah James; Troop 446: Wesley Thrash and Dalton Brooks; Mary Guthrie, Scoutmaster; Buck Brooks, Assistant Scoutmaster; Miles Guthrie, Assistant Cubmaster Pack 446; and Mrs. Patt Ellis, master of ceremonies.
