Taylorsville running back Jeffery Pittman made it official Sunday evening. The multi-time State Champion and back-to-back 2A State Championship's Most Valuable Player award-winner will be furthering his career at Hinds Community College.
"I want to thank God for blessing me with my talent and another opportunity to play football," said Pittman.
Over the course of the 2020 season, Pittman rushed for 1,412 yards and 21 touchdowns along with 120 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. Pittman also recorded 22 tackles and two sacks in four games after asking to play defense midway through the season.
"I want to thank my family and friends for being there throughout this journey. A special thank you to the great coaches, players, and fans at Taylorsville," exclaimed Pittman.
