A huge part of the Red Devils success last Friday night against the Bulldogs came from Jasper County’s fastest athlete, Anthony Thomas.
The senior running back racked up 174 yards on six, yes just six carries, including a 90-yard and 40-yard touchdown run. After doing a little math, that comes to an average of 29-plus yards a carry.
Now that is deserving of a Sports601 Jasper County Player of the Week honor. And so it will be.
