What to make from today’s MHSAA COVID-19 announcement
The Mississippi High School Activities Association handed down its ruling regarding spring athletics on Monday morning.
Through much of the contest, it looked as though a Logan Walters two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning would be the only score in the books, but a flurry of runs in the bottom of the sixth gave the Panthers a dominating 7-1 victory over rival Oak Grove on Thursday night.
