FCAHS and Sumrall met on the pitch Tuesday night for a non-district showdown.
The FCAHS Lady Aggies took game one, 3-1, behind goals from Mary Claire Boone and Keona Crowell. Boone and Crowell helped the Lady Aggies race out to a 2-0 lead just ten minutes into the first half.
Sumrall’s lone goal came courtesy of Carrigan Childs midway through the first half. The Lady Bobcats fell to 2-1 with the loss, while the Lady Aggies improved to 2-1.
In game two, the Bobcats coasted to a 5-0 win over the Aggies. Jack Boover, Max Elkins, Grant Ready, Jathan Stevens and Sam Williamson all scored a goal for Sumrall, while goalkeeper Solomon Landrum finished with a clean sheet.
The Bobcats improved to 2-1 with the win. On the other side, it was the Aggies’ first loss of the young season.
FCAHS will be back in action this Thursday at Hattiesburg, while Sumrall will next face Vancleave on Saturday.
