Lamar Christian Senior Kyla Rowell has accepted a four-year cross country athletic scholarship from Asbury University in Wilmore, KY.
Kyla was team captain for the past two years and helped win the MAIS AA State Runners-Up trophy during the 2018 season.
She wishes her LCS teammates the best in the upcoming season and sincerely appreciates all the hard work a dedication from Coach Thompson and Coach Barr.
In addition to being a student athlete, Kyla will also be a presidential scholar at Asbury.
