Bay Springs tailback Harry Harrison accounted for five touchdowns in leading the Bulldogs past Raleigh, 41-8. Harrison accounted for 228 yards of offense on the night as he scored four rushing touchdowns on runs of 8, 25, 31, and 60 yards plus tallied on an 80-yard kickoff return.
Laurel held off Picayune, 20-14, in Big 8 Conference football action. Benny Hinton scored on a 61-yard run while Butch Moody scored on a two-yard run plus caught a 92-yard pass from Rod Gilbreath.
