Dollie Doris Wade, a loving mother and grandmother, passed on May 15th, 2023 at the age of 85 years old. She was holding the hand of her son and left the message of love for him and her granddaughter.

She was a hard-working woman that spent 23 years as a machinist at the Movie Star Garment Plant in Ellisville Mississippi prior to retiring. She lived her life in the Sharon community of Laurel, Mississippi for 48 years where she raised her son and granddaughter. Dollie was always happy with what she had and was always thankful for those that were in her life. She left a positive impression on all who she met and was a strong survivor of breast cancer for 25 plus years of her life. She will be missed dearly but will be remembered when flowers are nearby.

Dollie was preceded in death by her late mother, Eva Ray Reynolds and her late father, Homer Reynolds of Jones County Mississippi.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne Wade and her granddaughter, Jessica Wade.

Dollie Doris Wade was a loving woman who cherished the little things and was a beaming light of hope from her time of birth on April 24th, 1938 to her passing on May 15th 2023. Her smile will never be forgotten and her laugh will always be heard.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in North Laurel. The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 25th, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Chapel with interment in Sharon Cemetery.
