Ben Ray Reeves passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, in Laurel, Mississippi at 71 years old.
Ben was a living testament that love can change the heart of a man and believed without doubt that God is love and surrendered to His mercy and grace.
Known as “Bear” by those close to him, Ben was a student of the Holy Bible and was often sought by his peers to discuss topics concerning faith. He wrote numerous extra-biblical works including, “Man’s Battlefield” and authored numerous short stories including his personal favorite, “Hanna.” He had many questions for God and we find comfort knowing those questions have now been answered.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. at Christian Life Church. The family welcomes stories and memories from Ben’s life. The service will be officiated by his sons and Pastor Rayborn Huff. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
