Michael Allan Cameron Sr, 53, passed away at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg on Thursday, December 3, 2020. A graveside memorial is set for Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove cemetery.
Michael, more commonly known as Mike, was a great husband, loving father & dedicated employee. At the time of his death, Mike was employed at Taylor Construction as a Plant Manager. With more than 30 years of experience in the concrete business, he was always lending advice to coworkers. Aside from work, Mike loved to be home with his cattle and tending to his garden; interests he acquired from his parents & grandfather.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Sylvia Cameron.
He is survived by his wife, Candace Cameron of Perkinston, two sons, Michael (Shari) Cameron Jr. of Oak Grove, Matthew (Kendra) Cameron of Purvis, one daughter, Jessie Cameron of Raleigh, two sisters, Kaye McGee, Julie Atwood, three granddaughters, two grandsons, and one grandson to be born.
