A graveside service for Mr. Claude T. Fillingane, age 94, of New Augusta, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the Janice Cemetery with Rev. Carl Rigby officiating.
Mr. Fillingane worked for 30 years in the Facility’s Combat and Support Maintenance Shop at Camp Shelby and then as a diesel mechanic. He was a loving husband, and wonderful father, and an amazing pawpaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James Abner and Catherine Fillingane, 4 sisters and 1 brother.
He is survived by the love of his life, Nettie Fillingane; his daughters, Martha F (Harlon) Clark, Shelia K. Fillingane, and Denise F. (Ricky) Collier, all of New Augusta; his grandchildren, Chris (Jessica) Clark, April (Thomas) Bryars, Brandon (Britney) Collier, Aaron (Elizabeth) Collier, and J. T. Collier; 7 great grandchildren; his sisters, Margaret Walters of Janice and Sarah Fillingane of Janice, and his brothers, Ed Fillingane of Petal and Dan (Fern) Fillingane of Janice.
Visitation for Mr. Fillingane will be held from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the Janice Cemetery.
