Willodean “Dean” Jackson, 80, of Hattiesburg, passed away on Thursday October 15, 2020, at Asbury Hospice. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020, at the Petal Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with funeral services to immediately follow. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg. Rev. Bobby Tucker and Rev. James Ravencraft will be officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Dale Stancil, Michael Stancil, Tressie Stancil, Tammy Honeycutt and Alex Hays.

Mrs. Jackson was of Assembly of God Faith and has served the Lord faithfully since she was a teenager. Dean was employed at the age of 19 by Reliance Manufacturing Company until 1973 when they were bought by Big Yank Corporation. She remained with them until 1992, when they closed. She was always faithful to attend church and enjoyed worshipping her Lord and Savior in praise and worship and attentively enjoyed the Word of God brought through messages. She enjoyed cleaning and decorating her home and visiting with family and friends. She and her husband (Conley) loved traveling as well.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Conley Jackson; her father, Harold Morea; her mother Lois Humphrey; her sister, Mildred Keller; her brother, David Humphrey; and her brother-in-law, Pete Kreidler.

She is survived by her brother, Tommy Morea (Rossie) of Petal; two sisters, Ann Kreidler of Warrior, AL, and Patricia Crays (John) of Petal; her nephews, Harold Keller, Tim Keller, Robert Keller, Frank McDonald, Jeffrey Morea and Mark Morea; her nieces, Tammy Honeycutt and Tressie Stancil; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and numerous great-great-nieces.
