Mrs. Edavee “Peewee” Johnson, 86, of Wiggins, died March 28, 2020, in Stone County Rehab and Nursing. She was a member of Paramount Baptist Church and a social worker for the Stone County Welfare Department.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.T. Johnson, her parents, James and Wilma Walker and her siblings, Lesko Walker, Exro Walker, Evo Walker, Elco Walker, Olga Geiger, and Evelyn Scarborough.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Coker (Randall) of San Angelo, Texas, James “Jimmy” Moore (Sylvia) of Perkinston and Teddy Moore (Sherrie) of Jefferson, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Josh Moore, Jamie Jones, Tessa Castleberry, LeAnne Wilson (Jason), Jennifer Dill (Nathan), Jessica Jackson (Clay), Crystal Rogers (Josh), Tiffany Hollowell and fifteen great-grandchildren, Alivia, Anniston, Natalie, Ryleigh, Levi, Dillon, Zane, Finley, Juliana Moore Addison Moore, Bradley Moore, Hannah, and Lilian Rogers, Mia and Jaxon Mackey and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements.
