Freida Fillingane, 58, of Hattiesburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Merit Health Wesley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2020, at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with interment in Highland Cemetery to follow.
Freida was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. She was known as an artist who loved to paint, especially at the beach and more than anything, she loved to spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Sarah Free.
She is survived by her husband of forty years, Sam Fillingane, D.O. of Hattiesburg; three daughters, Athalia Bolden of Madison, Faith (Anthony) Dabbs of Kansas City, MO, Grace (Connor) Fortenberry of Kansas City, MO; a son, Chip (Sara Beth) Fillingane, D.O. of Maryville, MO; two brothers, John Free of Jackson, Marty Free of Hattiesburg; eight grandchildren, Noah Dabbs, McKinley Bolden, Addyson Mae Dabbs, Piper Jane Fillingane, Sawyer Kate Wells, Willow Dabbs, Walter Fillingane, and Olivia Dabbs.

isitation for Freida will be at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
