Funeral services for Sherry Rene White Shelden, 57, of Taylorsville were held Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Missionary Church with burial in Fellowship Cemetery. Bro. Kent Grice and Bro. Frankie Clark officiated.
Pallbearers were Cameron Walley, Brian White, Jared White, Heath White, Jeff Bounds, Dalton Bounds, Ben Atchley, Bryce Middleton, Trent Middleton, Jacob Garner and Joshua Chisholm.
Mrs. Shelden died Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg. Born in Magee, she loved working. She loved her family and friends and could move mountains for Courtney, Cameron and Britney. A good cook, she loved reciting quotes from movies and tv shows. She will be missed tremendously.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Quitman “Pete” and Bertha Boutwell White and a brother, James Albert White.
Survivors include her daughter, Courtney Jones; grandchildren, Cameron Walley and Britney Jones; siblings, Jerry L. White and wife, Jane, Larry White and wife, Connie, Judy Eubanks and husband, Charles and Tammy White, and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Taylorsville, MS.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville was in charge of arrangements.
