Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2020, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton for Mr. Donald J. “Donny” Beasley, age 73, of Richton who passed from this life on September 10, 2020, at Highland Community Hospital. Bro. Herbert Wiggins will officiate the service with burial to follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Beasley, Elijah Beasley, Jesse Beasley, Barrett Scarbrough, Roy Nowell, Landon Parker and David Breland as alternate.
Mr. Beasley was born on July 14, 1947, to John Talbert and Clytie Mae Beasley. He worked for 31 years before retiring for Leaf River Sawmill in New Augusta.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Christopher Beasley; parents; sisters, Nita Grace Beasley Swan and Exie Jean Beasley and brother, Johnny Beasley.
He is survived by his wife, Dellree Freeman Beasley of Richton; daughter, Denise Michele Beasley of Richton; sister, Rose Mary Beasley Cooley of Richton; brother, Daniel Elijah “Danny” Beasley (Jeanette) of Richton.
Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
