Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church for Mrs. Betty Lou Broome Landrum, age 92, of Richton, who passed away to her heavenly home on March 16, 2020, at the Southern Living Personal Care Home in Waynesboro. Bro. Shot Stinson and Bro. Aubrey Cook will officiate with burial to follow in Mulberry Cemetery.

Mrs. Landrum was preceded in death by her husband, James Landrum; parents, Tillous and Lorene Broome; granddaughter, Samanthia Landrum; brother, Gene Broome; sisters, Edith Maxie, Beatrice Ladner, Francis Broome and Lokey Stevison.

She is survived by sons, Ronnie (Patricia) Landrum of Richton, Donnie (Martha) Landrum of Richton; brothers, Billy Broome of Richton, V.R. Broome of Richton, Bobby Broome of Grand Bay, Alabama; sisters, Cleo Breland of McLain, Ann Clark of Grand Bay, Alabama, Laura Milam of Richton, Vivian Odom of Richton, Sue Freeman of Richton; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Landrum was a member of the Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church and was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years. She taught at Mulberry School, Ovett School, Whitfield School and Clara School.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, 2020, 2:00 p.m. - until service time at Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church.
