Bonnie Viola Colby, 84, of Purvis, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Lamar Health and Rehab. Visitation will be Monday, October 12, 2020, from 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with services immediately following at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in West Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Colby was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She loved planting flowers and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles LeRoy Colby.
She is survived by one son, Charles Colby (Carol) of Purvis; two grandchildren, Megan Renee Bozone (Daniel) of Hattiesburg and Charles William Colby of Purvis; two great grandchildren, Charles “Danger” Bozone and Colby Renee Bozone; one brother, Roy Hartfield, Sr. of Purvis; three sisters, Sharon MacArthur of Purvis, Miriam Davis of Hattiesburg and Elaine Stuart of Purvis; and one sister-in-law, Linda Polk of Hattiesburg.
