Betty Jo Smith, 68, of College Station, Texas formerly of Lumberton passed away on October 24, 2020, in College Station, Texas.
She was a member of Hickory Creek Baptist Church and drove a school bus for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Verma Jo Eaton of Lumberton: two brothers, Jimmy Eaton and Robert Eaton both of Lumberton.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Eddie Smith of College Station, Texas; two children, Leslie (Mark) Rich of College Station, Texas and Karl (Lori) Smith of Bryan, Texas; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, Connie (Robert) Kelley of Poplarville, Tracey (Priscilla) Eaton of Vicksburg, Paul Eaton of Lumberton and Enoch Eaton of Wiggins, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Hickory Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow in Davis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the church on Friday, October 30, 2020. Moore Funeral Service in Wiggins is in charge of the arrangements.
