Billy Greenhill, 77, of Petal, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at his home. A memorial service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. and will also be available for livestream on the church’s Facebook page if anyone does not feel safe to attend in person.
Mr. Greenhill was a founding member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He was a whisky salesman and a mason. He collected guns, knives, and antiques. He loved woodworking, fishing, and watching westerns. Above all things, he loved his family. He was a proud father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Greenhill; his son, Rob Greenhill; his parents, Nelson and Mary Alice Greenhill; and two brothers, Danny Greenhill, and Randy Greenhill.
He is survived by his son, Scott (Karie) Greenhill of Petal; his daughter, Amanda (Tres) Agnelly of Columbia; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and one brother, Steve (Debra) Greenhill of Tupelo.
