Ford Carter Bryant, 95, of Hattiesburg, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Magnolia Place. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Providence Baptist Church from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant was a member of Providence Baptist Church and served in the United States Navy. He was a shipping clerk at Big Yank Corporation for over 30 years before retiring in 1988. He enjoyed gardening and was a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Stacie Bryant; his parents, Abner and Ella Bryant; three brothers; and one sister.
He is survived by one daughter, Sarah (Austin) Clement; two sons, David (Mary) Bush and George (Nancy) Bush; seven grandchildren, Nancy Glazer, David Bush, Doug (Sabrina) Ahlers, Kyle (Nicole) Bush, Richard (Dana) Bush, Amanda Clement, and Melissa (Michael) Clement; and numerous great grandchildren.
