Carson Corey, 68, of McLain, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. in Fairley Family Cemetery.
Carson Corey was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Chevron Oil Company. He was a member of Beaumont Masonic Lodge #468, was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, and was a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Corey; his mother, Celah Ruth Corey; and one sister, Carmen Corey.
He is survived by two sons, Mark (Ashley) Corey of Vinegar Bend, AL and Joseph (Angelina) Corey of Leakesville; one daughter, Michelle (Mike) Deese of Vinegar Bend, AL; one brother, Calvin (Sandy) Corey of McLain; and eight grandchildren, Avery Corey, Logan Newburn, Josiah Corey, Kirsten Garrard, Eli Corey, Jayden Clarke, Christopher Deese, and Allyson Deese.
Serving as pallbearers will be the Beaumont Masonic Lodge and honorary pallbearers will be Richard Harvison, Joe McCoy, David Smith, Arnold Smith, Mike Cochran, and Bill Gunn.
