Tommie Lyles Gore, 89, of Hattiesburg, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. with services immediately following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Gore was a homemaker and a member of Westover Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles A. Lyles; her second husband, Benny Wright; one grandson, Brandon Lyles; three brothers, Clark Herrington, Edsel Herrington, and Leland Herrington; three sisters, Marie Hatten, Nell Graham, and Pat Nobles.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Gore of Hattiesburg; four children, Dr. Jean Young of Petal, Charles Ray (Eileen) of the Dixie Community, Vicki L. (Danny) Malone of Natchez, and Mark Lyles of Petal; 10 grandchildren, Jay Young, Jody Young, Jenny Leigh Grantham, Kari Lyles, Garrett Lyles, Matthew Malone, Molly Hoffpauir, Meagan Polk, Madison Lyles, and Peyton Lyles; 18 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
