Tony Garza, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at his residence in Brooklyn. A memorial service and celebration of Tony’s life will be held at a later date.
Tony was a generator mechanic in the oil fields for many years and was loved by very many people. He loved to fish and go on road trips. He also enjoyed trail rides and dancing with his wife, Renee. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy Sea Bees during the Viet Nam War.
He is preceded in death by his son, S. M. Tony Garza, Jr.; parents, Rudy and Fannie Fincke; and two brothers, Martin Mello and Ray Mello Garza.
Tony is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Renee Garza of Brooklyn; three sons, Darvin Laymon and Tommy Daughdrill, both of Brooklyn, Charles (Michelle) Hefley of Dover, AR; three daughters, Chelsea Daughdrill of Brooklyn, Liberty Barefoot of Brooklyn, Renee (Freddie) Massey of Dover, AR; a sister, Linda Louise Boucher of Burnet, TX; a brother, Rudy Charles (Deborah) Fincke, Jr. of Burnet, TX; grandchildren, Taylor Morgan Barefoot, April Michelle Rose, Ayden Lee Daughdrill, Asher Jeffrey Daughdrill; two great-grandchildren; and many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
