A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2020, at Sunset Cemetery for Mrs. Mary Alice Ledger, age 91, who died on September 18, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Josh Dunn will officiate the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Wise, Dan Daniels, Claytor Lassiter, Paul Diagle, Hugh Thoms and Perry Wayne Taylor.
Mrs. Ledger was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lewis Ledger; grandson, Earl Hanson; parents, Ace and Allie (mother) Carlisle, Albert (father) and Ella Vee White; brother, Lynn White; sister, Judy Foxworth; and nephew, Fred A. White, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna (Wayne) Muscio of Richton; brothers, Fred (Ann) White of Pascagoula, and David (Peggy) White of Madison; granddaughter, Natasha Smith of Andalusia, AL; great-grands, Seaman, Trevor Williams, of Mayport, FL, Breanna Smith and Jessica Smith, both of Andalusia, AL; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ledger was a member of the First Baptist Church of Richton. She dedicated her life to her family and helping others. She was the manager of TWL for numerous years and was an evening manager of Tim’s Service Station for several years.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 21, 2020, from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Richton.
