Juanita W. Pickett, 80, (formerly of Petal), passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, surrounded by her family at her residence in Sumrall. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Highland Cemetery.
Juanita had been a seamstress for twenty five years before retiring and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Pickett; a daughter, Regina Pickett; two sons, Troy Anthony Pickett and Craig Pickett; her parents, Charlie and Ida Wood; four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Dale) Pitts of Sumrall; two grandchildren, Jason (Shannon) Pitts, Neil Pickett, both of Sumrall; six great-grandchildren, Hunter Pitts, Fischer Pitts, Ethan Pickett, Ashlyn Pickett, Trinity Pickett, Mallory Pickett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Juanita will be held at 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at the Hattiesburg Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
