Richard Allen “Dick” Hurley, age 89, passed away at his home on June 14, 2020. He was born November 9, 1930, in Big Bend, Wisconsin. Mr. Hurley served in the United States Air Force and was a longtime resident of Stone County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Estella Hurley, three brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Hurley is survived by his longtime companion of 30 years, Kay Skeide of Wiggins, MS and her children Shawn (James) Smith of Ovett, MS, Douglas Skeide of Webster, SD and David (Wanda) Skeide of Webster, SD; two daughters, Brenda McKee and Cindy Hauson of Amarillo, TX; son, Matt Hurley of Hale Center, TX; two special nieces, Maureen Hurley of Milwaukee, WI and Sister Kathleen Hurley of Albuquerque, NM; a host of grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The interment will take place at Webster Cemetery in Webster, South Dakota at a later date. Moore Funeral Services is in charge of the arrangements.
