Dawana Kaye Leggett, 68, of Raleigh, Mississippi, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born Friday, June 1, 1951, in Ontario, Canada.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Raleigh United Methodist Church in Raleigh, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at Raleigh United Methodist Church. Pastor Tim Lott of All Seasons Worship Center will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of arrangements.

Dawana was a member of All Seasons Worship Center in Forest, MS where she was a volunteer Greeter. She was well known for her passion for God, her love of family and friends, as well as her friendly smile and fun zeal for life. And on Fall Saturdays she could always be found rooting for her beloved Golden Eagles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Leggett, parents, Troy Edward Develin and George Dale Craft.

Survivors include her son, Noel Stringer (Melanie), daughter, Christine Perks (Jeremy), grandchildren, Grace and Will Stringer, Jett and Levi Perks, sister, Becky White (Art), nephew, Ken Nichols (Denise), great niece, Michelle Nichols (Jake Sherwood), great nephew, Jarren Sherwood.
