Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 30,2020, at Full Gospel Jesus Name Church, Purvis for Mrs. Wanda Jean Rowell, age 61, of Purvis who passed from this life December 27, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital.
Bro. Eldon McVey and Bro. Douglas McVey will officiate with burial to follow in the Burkhalter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bro. Mitch Herrin, Billy Neal, Mare Burkhalter, Brandon Burkhalter, Buck Neal and Daniel Herrin. Honorary pallbearer will be Jonathan Singley.
Mrs. Rowell enjoyed baking, cooking, arts and crafts. She loved decorating cakes. She was very active in her church where she was a pastor’s wife, a prayer warrior, a loving mother and a loving wife. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Myrtle Burkhalter.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Rowell of Purvis; daughter, Brandy (Hollis) Mason of Purvis; son, Jason Rowell of Flowood, MS; granddaughter, Allison “Gracie” Rowell; sister, Martha (Dwight) Anding of Purvis; brothers, William “Bill” (Lesia) Burkhalter and Jerry (Rhonda) Burkhalter both of Purvis.
Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. December 30, 2020, at Full Gospel Jesus Name Church, Purvis.
