Elbert L. Harris, Sr., 93, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at Bedford Care Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Alonzo and Maggie Lee Harris; his first wife, Hilda Stuckey Harris; his second wife, Marry Harris; two brothers, Cecil Harris and Ray Harris.
He is survived by his son, Elbert “Butch” (Judy) Harris, Jr.; his daughter, Glenda Gayle Simmons; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
