Thomas Daniel Prine, 81, of Hattiesburg, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 3, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church with services immediately following at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Prine was a retired Captain from the City of Hattiesburg Fire Department. He retired in 1992 after 26 years of service. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Pine Belt R/C.
He was preceded in death by his parents, O. Leslie and Bessie Prine.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mixon Prine; two daughters, Sandy (Garry) Edwards and Stephanie (Scott) Patterson; one sister, Carolyn Webster; one brother, Glenn L. Prine; and five grandchildren, Daphne (David) Durcharme, Danielle Edwards, Deborah Edwards, Joseph Patterson, and Grace Patterson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
