David Dewitt Cotten, 37, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Saturday, June 8th, 2019, at Green County Hospital in Leakesville, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, April 1, 1982, in Fort Hood, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel and the Burial will follow in Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurel, MS. Bro. Steve Clark will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Cotten, daughter, Annalise Cotten, son, Colton Lane Cotten; nephew, Jarrod Price; grandmother, Evelyn Martin.
Survivors include his father, Donald Cotten (Stephanie); daughter, Emma Grace Cotten; sister, Crystal Cotten; brother, Andy Cotten (Nikole); niece, Caitlin Cotten; nephew, Jakob Cotten; niece, Annabeth Cotten.
Pallbearers will be David English, Aaron Cotten, Brian Holifield, Clint Cotten, Brent Wade, and Brian Wade.
