Services for Mr. Bradford Dane Walley, age 87, of the Sand Hill Community, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2020, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton, MS with Bro. Ronald Nowell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Mutual Rights Cemetery in the Avera Community, with Michael Shoemake, David Shoemake, Clayton Temple, Donovan Freeman, Brent Thrash, and Bryan Thrash serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Walley served his country in the U. S. Air Force, serving 22 years before retiring as a Master Sargent. He served three tours in Vietnam and was stationed in other areas of the world during his service. After retiring from the military, Dane worked for over 20 years with Komp Equipment Company in Hattiesburg before retiring again.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Akeron and Gertrude Walley, and a brother, Jimmy Walley.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Norma Walley; two daughters, Karen (Mack) Byrd of Neely and Debora (Steve) Barnett of Hobbs, New Mexico; his son, Brad (Pam) Walley of Magee; his grandchildren, Jessica (Clayton) Temple, Brent Thrash, Lindsey (Donovan) Freeman, and Bryan Thrash, his great grandchildren; Emma Kate Temple and Elijah Temple; two sisters, Carolyn Nikolakis and Virginia Abrahamson, and his brother, Charles Walley.

Visitation for Mr. Walley will be held from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. Monday at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
