Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020, for Mr. James Aaron Davis Jr., of Leakesville, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Leakesville. Mr. Davis passed away on February 29, 2020, at his residence. Bro. David Clark and Bro. Greg Foster will officiate with burial to follow in Arlie Davis Cemetery.
James Aaron was born to James and Cyndi Davis on May 25, 1986, at Greene County Hospital. Jamie gained his angel wings on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Greene County Hospital. Jamie was 33 years old.
Jamie was a wonderful daddy to 3 wonderful boys, Mason, Easton and Brennon. Jamie was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He was a welder by trade and enjoyed his job. He loved to be outdoors; fishing and hunting. You could always find a fishing pole in his vehicle so he could wet a hook on his way home from work to relax. On his weekend with his boys they would spend it at the creek; in a boat with a fishing pole wetting a hook; or playing a good ole game of hide and seek.
Jamie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter (Skeet) and Margorie Davis and Mickel Smith, all of Leakesville.
He is survived by his three sons, Mason, Easton and Brennon Davis; parents, James and Cyndia Davis; sister, Christina Davis; niece, Adriannah Bufkin; nephew, Wesley Lizana; grandparents, Bill (Pop) Louise Holder; host of aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2020, 6:00 p.m. until at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Leakesville.
