Art Bryant, 89, of Janice Community, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 ,at his home. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Janice Cemetery.

Mr. Bryant was a deacon at Cypress Creek Baptist Church. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, where he worked in counter intelligence. After serving in the military, he became an ATF Special Agent for the U.S. Treasury. He retired from the Treasury after 27 years of service. He was a 32nd degree Mason Scottish and York Rite and a member of the Sudan Temple of the Shriners. He was a distinguished expert marksman. He was a loving husband and father.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Edna Bryant; and his brother, Willis Bryant.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Bryant of Janice; three children, Phil (Rhetta) Bryant of Janice, Judy (David) Prehn of Oak Grove, and Sandy Bryant of Janice; his grandchildren, Rachael (Josh) Ward, Clifton Bryant, Eric Prehn, Emily Prehn, Evan (Danae) Prehn, Laura (Austin) Beattie, Caroline (Ben) Worley, Chris (Molli) Deaton, and James Deaton; his great-grandchildren, Abigail Ward, Isabella Ward, and with Zebulon on the way.
