It is with profound sadness that the family of Charles Carlton Price, 82, of Hattiesburg, MS announces his passing on Friday, July 10, 2020, after a short illness.

He shared his life for 55 years with his wife Doris, and together they raised four children. Born in New Hebron, MS, Charles joined the U.S. Naval Reserve and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Mississippi State University. He was employed by Ingalls Shipbuilding before moving to Texas for a career in the natural gas industry. He retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company in El Paso, TX and Resinall Corp. in Hattiesburg. Charles was devoted to his family and enjoyed golf and reading. He served in the Baptist church as a deacon and enjoyed teaching Bible study.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles C. Price; mother, Mary Ellen Price; and brothers, Luther Gerald “Jerry” Price and James Earl Price.
