The Celebration of Life Service for Addison Gracelyn Morgan, age ten, will be held at Petal Harvey Baptist Church, Petal, MS, on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Petal Harvey Baptist Church from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Addison Gracelyn Morgan was born January 9, 2009, in China. However, she was born in her mother's heart in January, 2007. Melissa's family date for Addison was August 30, 2010, when she was placed in her mother's loving arms. Addison stepped into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on August 17, 2019.
Addison is survived by her loving mom, Melissa Ann Morgan of Petal, MS, Papa and Mimi (Don and Jan Morgan) of Richton, MS, Aunt Meck Meck (Mecklyn Morgan) of Richton, MS, great aunts Susan Jeffcoats (Panama City Beach, FL), Kathy Horne (Maryville, TN) and many cousins.
Addison was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Arnold and Ann Jeffcoats of Richton, MS, Hubert and Kathleen Morgan of Florence, MS, her precious cousins, Eli and Isaac Zuniga, and great aunt Monica Morgan Sellers.
Addison was a fifth grader at Petal Upper Elementary. Addison loved Jesus, her mom and other family, music, art, friends, school, and swimming. She had a loving, kind heart to all and was a shining light wherever she went. To know Addison was to love her.
