Services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020, for Mr. Stanley Arnold Williams, age 63, of Lucedale, at Midway Baptist Church in Vernal. Mr. Williams passed away on November 10, 2020, at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg. Bro. Larry Havard and Bro. John Burge will officiate the service with burial to follow in the Williams Family Cemetery in Vernal. Pallbearers will be Calvin Stewart, Randy Green, Kyle Williams, Justin Walley, Larry Williams, Wayne Miller and Sammy Dye as Alternate.
Mr. Williams worked construction for many years before retiring in 2014. He was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church. He loved to farm and spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Williams; mother and father-in-law, W.A. and Frances Green.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Williams of Vernal; daughters, Ashley (Delanie) McLeod of Mt. Pisgah, Jessica (George) McLeod of Vernal, Hannah (Jacob) Pulliam of Vernal; grandchildren, Delanna Graverly, Hunter McLeod, Kaleb McLeod, Kaleigh McLeod, Anna Clara Pulliam, Karsen McLeod, Caroline Pulliam, Kannon McLeod; mother, Helen Williams of Vernal; brother, Ronnie (Leigh) Williams; sister, Denise (Donald) Johnston.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 12, 2020, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church in Vernal.
