Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at the Grantham Cemetery for Mr. James Alfred Madden, age 68, of Purvis who passed from this life July 12, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital.
Bro. Wilford Knight will officiate with burial to follow in the Grantham Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joey Johnson, Jonathan Smith, Russell Graves, Ricky Graves, Eddie Madden and Gary Yawn.
Mr. Madden was a member of the Central Missionary Baptist Church of Purvis. He was a painter for over 45 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chalmus and Louise Madden; brother, Carl Madden; sister, Dorothy Madden Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Sue Madden of Purvis, and daughter, Kayla Madden of Purvis.
Graveside visitation will be 9:30 a.m. -10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at the Grantham Cemetery.
Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg is in charge of arrangements.
