Funeral services are to be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for Linda Sue Holder, age 76, of Pleasant Hill, who was born July 17, 1943, and passed away February 6, 2020. Linda Sue Holder was a longtime faithful member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she served as a Pianist, Sunday school teacher and Secretary. She worked several years in the office at the Neely factory and later worked as a care giver assisting those with special needs. When she wasn’t working or tending to the needs of her family she enjoyed going to church, working in her yard and spending time with her family. She was a natural true loving servant who put the needs of others before her own. She lived her life in a selfless loving manner every day serving God and others. We are so thankful for all the fond memories that we will forever cherish. We are also especially thankful to all the dear friends that have been lifting her and the family up in prayer. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, great grandmother and true friend to many. She will be greatly missed.
Linda Sue Holder is preceded in death by her father, Alonzo James, mother, Bernice James (Brock) and brother, Pat James.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Earnest Holder; sons, Brent (Lisa), Scott (Tammy), Roy (Carmen) and Mark (Leslie); grandchildren, Dereck, Tyler, Hailey, Ashley, Kelby, Caroline, Carson and great-grandchild Natalie; brothers, Glenn James and Ronnie James.
Visitation will be 5:30 – 10:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2010, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
