Henry Clinton, 88, of Hattiesburg passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Landmark Nursing Home in Collins. Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Clinton was a member at Maybank Baptist Church. He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Bell South after 35 years. He loved to fish, hunt, garden, and work on cars. He was a talented fiddler and guitar player. He raised honey bees on his property. When he could no longer do the things he enjoyed, he took up quilting. Above all else, he loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Clinton; and his brothers, Charles Clinton, Ray Clinton, and Lavern Clinton.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Norma Jean Clinton of Hattiesburg; his daughter, Linda Jean (Charlie) Sokovich of Collins; his son, Henry Dwayne (Judy) Clinton of Hattiesburg; his 5 grandchildren, Jeremy (Tira) Sokovich of Hattiesburg, Lucinda (Jim) Davis of Sumrall, Felicia Clinton of Hattiesburg, Ramsey (Kendall) Clinton of San Antonio, TX, and Cody (Carrie) Clinton of Starksville, TX; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to either the Gideons or Hattiesburg Community Church, specifically to feed the poor.
