Johnny Husbands, 75, of Petal, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020, at the Covington County Hospital in Collins. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at the Petal Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with interment in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Johnny was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He had retired from Hercules as an operator after thirty-six years of service. Johnny had served his Country during the Viet Nam War in the U. S. Army where he was awarded two Bronze Stars and the Good Conduct Medal. He was preceded in death by his parents, R. W. and Lela Husbands; one brother and two sisters.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Lance) Crocker of Petal; two granddaughters, Elyse Crocker and Emari Crocker, both of Petal; and a very special friend, Gloria Tidwell of Petal; and his friends who will be acting as pallbearers.

Visitation for Johnny will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at the Petal Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
