William "Bill" Mallard Culpepper, 80, beloved Father, Husband, and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place Tuesday May 19, 2020, at his home in Clara, Mississippi. He was born at home Thursday November 9, 1939, to G.W. and Effie Culpepper in Strengthford, Mississippi.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 22, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Salem Cemetery in Strengthford, MS, with burial to follow in Salem Church Cemetery.
Bro. Michael Groce will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel is in charge of arrangements.
He was a lifelong resident of the Clara Community. He was a Christian and attended Clara Church of God. Bill was well loved and had many friends, and family; who will miss him much.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Culpepper; daughter, Ashley Channing Culpepper; parents, G.W. and, Effie Culpepper; brother, Bobby Culpepper; sister, Hazel Sellers.
Survivors include his son, Russell Culpepper (Toni); grandchildren, Tyler Culpepper, Madison Culpepper, Sophia Culpepper, and Paxton Myers; brothers, Darryl Culpepper (Judy), and Ronnie Culpepper (Carolyn), sisters, Mary Palmer, and Connie Farrar.
Pallbearers will be James Pittman, Ulmer Ray Pittman, William Ray Henderson, Wayne Stevens, Robert Mozingo, Marlon West, and Kevin Morgan.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salem Cemetery Fund.
