Georgette V. Johnson, 85, born in Metz, France on June 8, 1934, passed away on October 11, 2019, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, George Schwabbauer and Jeanne Ferry Kraup Schwabbauer.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Johnson (Elaine) and Johnnie Johnson, Jr. all of Laurel; two daughters Evelyn Hill of Laurel and Jeanette Beech of Fredericksburg, VA; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at Memory Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Chad Cummings will officiate.
