Robert ‘Rod’ Ogden, 76, of Collins, Mississippi, died Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, December 9, 1943 in Louisiana.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 23, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery and burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
Rod loved to garden, fishing and hunting and being with family and friends and most of all loved singing and praising the ‘Lord’.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Ogden, parents, Curtis and Bernice Ogden, brothers, Ernest Hank Ogden, Harold Ogden, Curtis Ogden, Jessie Ricky Ogden, sister, Helen Perritt.
Survivors include her daughters, Rena Herrin (Kyle), Denise Darden, grandchildren, Kayla Herrin Arie (Ethan), Shelly Herrin, Stephen Darden, Stephanie Darden, great-grandchildren, Payton Arie, Gracie Arie, brother, Kenneth Ogden, sisters, Bertie Dixon, Christine Moss, Earnestine Shell (Roy), Mary Sue Mullhouland, Corrine Leggett (George), Betty Anderson.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
