Services for Mr. Glenn Arlen Walley, age 82, of Neely, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Neely Methodist Protestant Church, with burial to follow in the Henderson Cemetery in Piave. Mr. Walley was born on April 17, 1938, in Piave to William Carley and Selma Beatrice Walley.

He retired at the rank of Senior Chief from the U.S. Navy after 26 years of service to his country. He was a faithful member of Neely Methodist Protestant Church where he was very active. He served for many years on the board of directors of the Pat Harrison Waterway District and was a master carpenter when it came to cabinets and odd jobs. He was a proud republican and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Doris Walley; his daughters, Carman (Mike) Cochran of the Buffalo community, Hope Jordan of Neely; his son, Dustin (Megan) Walley of Neely; his grandchildren, Joshua (Heather) Jordan, Cody (Ashton) Jordan, Zackery Glen Cochran, and Brix Ryan Walley, and his great grandchildren, Halli Breeze Jordan, Joshua Izayah Jordan, Jonathan Krimzyn Jordan, McKynlee Rayne Jordan. He also leaves behind his sister, Sonja Carnahan of Beaumont and brothers, Dennis Walley of Sandersville and Reese Walley of Hurley.

Visitation for Mr. Walley will beheld from 5:30 until 9:00 p.m. Monday at Neely Methodist Protestant Church.
