Tillis Edgar Loper, 79, of Petal passed away on November 15, 2020, at his home. Services will be Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Moore Petal Chapel, followed by burial in Indian Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Loper was a member of Indian Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars. He was a plumber for Pierce Plumbing for twenty-two years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Flora Loper; his wife, Allie Jane Loper; and a daughter, Randa Kay Loper.
He is survived by his son, Tillis Michael Loper (Diane) of Petal; his daughter, Elizabeth Loper Nichols of Petal; seven grandchildren, Christopher Loper (Tiffany) of Columbia, Scottie Loper (Amanda) of Petal, T.C. Nichols (Sarah) of Petal, Josh Nichols (Mironda) of Petal, Johnny Nichols of Petal, Scooter Nichols of Florida, and Ann Dean of Petal; fifteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Wesley Loper of Richton and Eddie Loper (Connie) of Petal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2020, at Moore Funeral Home in Petal from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
