A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2020, for Mr. Burie Arthur McLain, age 65, of Richton, at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Mr. McLain passed away to his heavenly home on April 6, 2020, at his residence. Bro. Jarrod Vanderslice, Bro. Cobi Smith and Bro. Thomas Holloway will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Kitchens, Mike McLain, Chad McLain, Calep Smith, Cory Smith, Cody Smith and Donnie Kitchens as an honorary pallbearer.
Mr. McLain was preceded in death by his wife, Linda McLain; parents, Oscar and Zelline McLain; and brother, Amos McLain.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Paul) Holyfield of Buckatunna, Nina Mills of Pelahatchie, Johanna (Travis) Brewer of Piave; sister, Margaret Stinson of Piave; brothers, Tony McLain of Piave, Byron McLain of Piave; grandchildren, Noah Holyfield, Haley Mills and Waylon Brewer.
Mr. McLain attended Trinity Freewill Baptist Church.
