Ida Thompson, 93, of Hattiesburg, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020, at her home.
Mrs. Thompson was of the Baptist faith. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Thompson, Jr.; her parents, William and Ada Cole; her twin sister, Ada Cochran; three sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by her son, Glen (Carolyn) Thompson of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren, Jason Humphries of Hattiesburg, Joshua (Ashley) Thompson of McHenry, Jonathan Thompson of Hattiesburg, Jeremy Thompson of Hattiesburg, Lauren Harding of Hattiesburg, and Kayla (Michael) Steenburgh of Hattiesburg; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
