Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Jones and Son Chapel in Beaumont for Mrs. Gloria Jean Herring, age 75,of Beaumont who passed from this life October 19, 2019, at her residence. Burial will follow at the Pumpkin Ridge Cemetery in Arlington.
Mrs. Herring was preceded in death by her husband, Halton Herring; daughter, Vicki Baker; grandchildren, Lacey Jean Herring and Seth Parker; and brother, Nick Byrd.
She is survived by her children, Dexter (Sherry) Herring of Beaumont, Ammon (Cindy) Herring of Beaumont, Charlie (Crystal) Herring of Beaumont and Renee (Dan) Parker of Wiggins; sister, Bonnie Nell Sylvester; brother, Shelby Byrd; aunts, Zettie Mae Bodie and S.M. Penton; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2019, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Beaumont.
